My wife and I stayed in the area for a few nights and stumble to this lovely cosy local restaurant. The waitress Pauline and the shop keeper were super friendly not to mention their customer which recommended us to try the pecan pie for desert which was delicious (even my dogs loved it lol, oh and they are pet friendly too which is a big plus). We had the beef fillet with blue cheese sauce and also the turkey special both served with homemade potatoes which were in layers and some creamy sauce in between. The dishes were delicious and we already missed them! We will surely revisit this restaurant when we come...

I pre-read your replies before leaving my first one and that's what I say next. You say everybody to say to your face that your food is bad to achieve what exactly? Will you return all the money? I doubt it. I can come to Reims, 3 hours of drive and say exactly the same I wrote here but you won't stop selling tar-tars with the beef for the dogs. And it's not about generousity of the portions. It's saving money on increasing amounts of cheap ingredients. Just like I said about moussaka: half of the generous portion - sause bechamel.

Good luck with your defensive replies, so good that Reims have tourists...

Wow! Feels so lucky my partner and I bumped into this place as we had a booking for champagne tour later at noon so we were strolling around the area. It is a small local restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience! Definitely a go-to place when you are in Reims. We ordered beef with blue cheese sauce and salmon tagliatelle, with a glass of champagne! Excellent French cuisine close to the home made type of comfort food. Food is really delicious we couldn’t fault any of it, I would definitely want to come back again next time.

A little pearl that makes you feel like you are in the living room of a French friend. The homecooked meals are simple and well-seasoned and the atmosphere acts as a quiet oasis in the midst of Reims. We were met by an English-speaking waitress who helped us with the French menu and had we had more time in Reims, we would have been back for more. Highly recommend!
