Visiting Riems from California, we stumbled upon this place after searching restaurants in the area. We are so glad we did. With young kids in tow, we were able to select our food, enjoy the atmosphere and not feel too out of place. With a full bar and a nice champagne selection, the hospitality and service really glowed. It really felt like a local’s restaurant. We left feeling like family.

Even though I didn't know how to speak French, I had lunch at the restaurant and received excellent service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and it was the best creem brulee I had in France. I recommend

Du côté de l'assiette, c'est un régal. Vous serez charmé par le camembert rôti aux corn flakes. La cuisson de ma bavette était au niveau de sa qualité : excellente. Je conseille aussi le côtes de Gascogne (Uby), il vaut le détour. Malgré une façade de restaurant sans artifice, n'hésitez pas à poussez la porte, vous ne regrettez pas. Et je ne vous parle pas de la petite surprise du patron à la fin. Je recommande vivement.

The owner is so hospitable that even his friends who are dining with their families step up to help this guy who only speaks english. This speaks volumes of the character of the owner. Come eat here and support a pillar of the community. Not hungry? Come anyway,...
