Le Maquis Fast good africain — Restaurant in Rennes

Walked in to this restaurant. It was probably the most unassuming place that street, had a chat with the owner / chef / staff, decided to have dinner there - just because he appeared very sincere.

Their ginger juice is the winner! The other two dishes we had were Cassava and couscous base with coconut gravy and plantain Rice with tomato and peanut gravy with plantain Both were fantastic

Don’t miss this gem in Rennes! We stopped in on a quiet weeknight during a business trip, and we were treated to one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. I had the Yassa and my fiancé had the Mafé, and they were both superb - so flavorful and filling. The ailes de poulet were incredible too, super crispy and perfectly seasoned. (En livraison UberEats) Comment vous dire que je suis très déçue. Mon restaurant Africain habituel était fermé donc je me suis tourné vers lui. J’ai commandé une formule avec un bol mafé, et un accompagnement (bananes plantains), les quantités pour 19€ sont vraiment inadmissible. Pour les bananes je crois qu’il n’y a même pas une banane entière, et pour ce qu’il y est du plat le riz on n’en manque pas c’est sur ! Par contre le poulet honteux.. à quel moment dans le mafé on sert des tenders de poulet.. pareil même pas 100grammes de poulet.. je ne recommande absolument pas ! Ce qui est malheureux c’est que les goûts sont très bon, mais le rapport quantité/prix est désastreux.. Je pense qu’il est mieux de venir en vrai y manger, parce que visiblement vu les commentaires précédents c’est top, pour ma part mauvaise expérience en livraison...
