Nice and homey place to eat in while in Rouen. We ordered a day menus, oyster platter, cheese, and drinks. Everything was excellent. Oysters are better than in Cancale. The meat was tender and juicy. Immense variety of cheeses. Wonderful recommendations of wines and drinks by owner.

Wanted to eat there and came a bit early (18-30), the door was open. Straight away was told “This is a restaurant, not a bar“, I said that I want to eat, the answer was “19, ok”. Of course not OK. I could have been welcomed to sit at least. You have just...

As soon as we walked in, we knew this was a special place. A congenial, "everyone is family" feeling. And then there was the nouriture, a gift from the extraordinarily talented chef. The special salad, the canard, the veal - mouth watering and a lovely presentation. The apple and pear dessert was just fabulous.

What a great place.. wonderful food. Venue appears to be chalkboard fresh daily, gracious service, full of locals but we didn't feel out of place at all. Has a delicious lunch with a nice section of glassed wine.

C'est à mon avis l'un des meilleurs restaurants du centre ville. Ambiance bistrot, la cuisine est d'influence Lyonnaise. Très bon accueil par le patron jamais avare d'une plaisanterie. Tout est frais et de qualité. Une carte et un menu du jour à 25€ entrée, plat, dessert. Je me suis vraiment régalé avec l'œuf parfait à la fourme d'Ambert puis la quenelle de brochet accompagnée d'une surprenante et savoureuse crème de gratin Dauphinois. L'ananas rôti pour terminer. N'hésitez pas, venez manger "chez l'gros" vous ne serez pas déçu.
