Nanakô — Restaurant in Rouen

Best restaurant me and my boyfriend visited in all of Rouen!! We were lucky enough to find it on our first night staying in the town! When we walked in, we were greeted by the extremely kind owners who were so sweet and so welcoming. We had already fallen in love with the restaurant before we even received our food! Then when we got the food, it absolutely blew us away, it was so fresh and so well made, and had the most lovely presentation, it was just all SO good!!! And we felt so good after finishing eating it. It tasted like it had been made with pure love, and it genuinely made us very happy, and brightened us up after a very long travel day!! It was just what we need and EVEN MORE. The prices are also extremely reasonable! Amazing prices! We loved it so much that we came back the next day and brought one of our friends to try it because we had raved about it to him, and he also fell in love with the food and loved the owners! They are truly cooking up magic at Nanokô! We visited one last to me before we left Rouen to experience the magic one last time and to say goodbye to the very kind owner who had made us feel so welcome. I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Asian fusion restaurant, and I must say, I was super impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and taken to my table. The ambiance was lovely, with soft lighting and a soothing color scheme that made for a relaxing dining experience.

The menu was a delightful mix of East Asian dishes and more contemporary fusion creations. I opted for the Korean bibimbap served with chicken which was so flavourful and tender, and the fried rice was delicious and unique twist to a traditional fried rice.

I got the Bobun and it was a fantastic vegan option! The spring rolls were delicious and crunchy but not too oily. The balance of all of the ingredients was perfect and the amount of sauce provided was excellent. You had tang in the pickled red cabbage, sweetness and spice in the sweet chili sauce, savory in the toasted peanuts and it all felt very fresh with the beautiful lettuce and freshly grated carrot.
