DON'T BOTHER GO ELSEWHERE :Having come back to the Antiques market for a 3rd day, we decided to have a glass of wine and coffee at this cafe on the corner, having found an empty table and sat down, we were greeted by a lady (probably the owner) and when asking politely if we could simply have drinks, she said in full french, with a garlic shrug (no not at this table) and instantly moved us to another table... Further back.. When seated (for the second time) in my broken French (but understood across EVERY OTHER FRENCH Cafe) the same "lady" professed "ahh now you order, and only drinks" and making us feel very uncomfortable " having met a lovely AMERICAN couple (Michael and Nicole) shortly to get married... And started chatting, we decided to stay. For the next 4 interactions with this French cafe owner, she was RUDE, OBNOXIOUS and didn't want our €28 euro we spent in the 30 minutes we were there......... DONT Bother, go somewhere where they appreciate the customer, and will be civil when serving you AFTER ALL THAT'S THEIR JOB. DONT BOTHER..... go somewhere who...

Au Roi Du Café, Les Púces:

Forewarning this restaurant is not accessible to those with wheelchairs or mobility aids

Service 1/10 The front of house had a attitude, the waiters were more concerned with being snotty to customers and money instead of service, the menu options are slim and tbh not interesting for the prices they charge, + Bathrooms were flooded when we went and left stagnant right next to the kitchen which seems like a health hazard.

Grapefruit juice: 8/10 but tbh it’s juice so I wouldn’t give them too much credit for squeezing a fruit. Water: metallic Fries: 3/10 cold and unsalted Salad: 4/10 fine, but it’s literally just spring mix and vinegar so that’s hard to mess up. Croque...

Stopped for a beer. Ordered at the bar. Prices on chalkboard above the bar. Collected beer from the bar. Made the mistake of sitting down at a seat near the bar and got charged an extra 1.50 for doing so when I left. Place was practically empty so wasn’t taking up a seat for diners. I am used to Italian places having two prices, but not clear how I was meant to know at this place I was incurring an extra charge. Manager said I should have read the table menu (which was. It on...

After a day of shopping at literally the World's Largest Flea Market, we needed a warm place to rest our feet. This Cafe is tiny inside but the outside has a covered area with space heaters. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming of us "Americans". We went twice and when we return we will go again. The Cafe Creme was so good and so was the food. I don't eat beef anymore so I ordered the vegan burger and it was absolutely delicious!

When visiting the Puces market you definitely must visit this place. The service staff were very attentive, super friendly and handsome! I had frites and my friend had a lovely raspberry tiramisu. Honestly, that was probably the best tiramisu I‘ve ever tried. The portions of the frites was huge for the 6€ I paid! This place is such a gem and I wish it would be more in the centre of town. Absolutely lovely.
