L’Escale à Corto — Restaurant in Saint-Malo

To say that I loved this quaint, charming restaurant on my last night in Brittany is to say nothing at all. Full of maritime paraphernalia, with the blues for musical accompaniment, great service, and charm in spades. But there is also the food, reasonably priced for the quality, especially compared to St Malo, fresh and tasty. Oysters were fresh and bigger than at other oyster bars in Dinard, and as fresh as you get them in Cancale itself. Seabass in beurre rouge, perfectly cooked. The meals were good bu the waiting was just too much. Even between our main and the desserts, we waited more than 20 minutes while being the last in the restaurant. And when we arrived, we had to wait 30 minutes to get our table. Regarding the food, it was good but a bit too pricy. The potions were quite small also. In the end the food was good, but I am not fond of waiting hours in...

Absolutely perfect place! This place was a random discovery for us, but it was amazing. Food is out of this world: so many surprising, full, strong and at the same time gentle flavors. Atmosphere is cosy, but design is tasteful and with a lot of details. Service is with the style: attention to customers’ needs and interests. We were not expecting to love it so...
