This place was recommended to us by our excursion guide. Out of a party of 8, 4 of us were very unhappy. The woman serving us was abrupt, rude and had no customer service skills. The food was inedible and she was not interested. Four of the members from the same excursion group deliberately did not give a tip as she was so rude to my sister and I. I would strongly advise people not to take a meal there. In response to the owners mistaken memory of the disastrous meal we had I would like to clarify we visited on the 10th March. My sister and I ordered jerk chicken after being reassured wrongly that it was not excessively spicy. The other 6 people who were on the same excursion were sitting at the next table to us. They all ordered meals and two were very dissatisfied with the overcooked shark that was presented to them. At no time was there any cursing or offensive language used by anyone. They offered breakfast, and I was hungry and feeling adventurous/wanted to try a local Caribbean breakfast. It was so good!
I chose Johnny cakes. I don't think I've ever had them before. They were freshly made a few minutes before I got there, split, and then filled with a smoked herring and veggie filling and a ham and cheese (my choices). There were many other options I would have loved to try.
I also had an excellent cafe au lait to go along with my breakfast. Very friendly owner and waitress, too
I loved Cisca's and am heading back there now for...
