Delicious homey, comfort island food for a good price and lovely people. If you’re intolerant to bell peppers (like me) this is the place to go to for oxtail stew with beans and rice. SUPER yummy!! Only two things: I wish they had some more fresh juices/drinks available to compliment the delicious fresh food, we had some fresh juices but they come already sweetened a lot with syrup (coconut man was done for the day in the area). The other thing was that the music from the other lolo could be heard along with theirs, so that wasn’t very peaceful. Other than that wonderful, try it out!

Stopped here with an excursion group from the Cruise Ship. Food was prepared fresh while you wait with local ingredients. I ordered Lambee (Conch Fritters) and Plantains. Excellent. Gauvaberry drink also delicous. Service was friendly and attentive. Hope to return again and try more of this delicious Caribbean cuisine.

We discovered this place by accident last year in the middle of the rain and it was such a nice surprise! The food is always fresh and service is very good. Great value for money in Marigot Market. The garlic shrimp is AMAZING!

This place was recommended to us by our excursion guide. Out of a party of 8, 4 of us were very unhappy. The woman serving us was abrupt, rude and had no customer service skills. The food was inedible and she was not interested. Four of the members from the same excursion group deliberately did not give a tip as she was so rude to my sister and I. I would strongly advise people not to take a meal there. In response to the owners mistaken memory of the disastrous meal we had I would like to clarify we visited on the 10th March. My sister and I ordered jerk chicken after being reassured wrongly that it was not excessively spicy. The other 6 people who were on the same excursion were sitting at the next table to us. They all ordered meals and two were very dissatisfied with the overcooked shark that was presented to them. At no time was there any cursing or offensive language used by anyone. This is just a lie to discredit the accuracy of...

Our cab driver recommended this place, and it did not disappoint. On a boardwalk near the water, Ciscas is a great place to sit in the shade and people-watch while you eat a fantastic lunch, and to linger over drinks in conversation with other patrons. Cisco herself will come out to chat with you while she serves you, and she has everything you need to make sure you can stay a while. For example, for our fantastic creole lunch of whole red snapper, conch, rice and beans, and plantains, she broke out a lovely French white wine, and as an aperitif she gave us a cappuccino, rum raisin ice cream, and even a decent scotch. Like the other restaurant owners on this strip, she makes friendly overtures to entice you into her restaurant, but if all the cab drivers are directing their clients here, she's obviously a cut...

I happened upon this restaurant while stopping at the boulangerie across the street. SO GLAD I found it!

They offered breakfast, and I was hungry and feeling adventurous/wanted to try a local Caribbean breakfast. It was so good!

I chose Johnny cakes. I don't think I've ever had them before. They were freshly made a few minutes before I got there, split, and then filled with a smoked herring and veggie filling and a ham and cheese (my choices). There were many other options I would have loved to try.

I also had an excellent cafe au lait to go along with my breakfast. Very friendly owner and waitress, too

I loved Cisca's and am heading back there now for...
