L'ArhAwaK — Restaurant in Saint Martin (France)

During the holiday season in 2016 my wife and I, along with another couple, jumped on an excellent cruise deal with Holland America and found ourselves enjoying the Caribbean for 9 days. Our ship, the m.s. Koningsdam, ferried us to a number of beautiful islands in the Easter Caribbean including Saint Martin / Sint Maarten.

Our visit took place on a Sunday. It didn’t take long to realize that many businesses on the French side are closed on Sundays.

After some time exploring the Marigot streets we stopped for a midday cold beverage at L’Arhawak Bar Restaurant Glacier right in downtown. They have inside seating as well as outside seating to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean weather. The drinks are cold and the service is speedy and friendly. Nice spot to kickback, people watch and listen to the sounds...

Very delicious conveniently located right outside the ports for the boats we weren't on a boat but we came out here and check out the area is very touristy this place was very delicious service everything was made fresh they have drinks of course alcohol is served everywhere for the most part the pizza had Fresh Slice pineapple on it which was amazing the lasagna was amazing everything was fresh and good and looked great are servers were good was very nice sitting outside. Had an excellent time would definitely go back would recommend it to anybody if you're in the area stop in here get some good food good drinks thank you for the great time we loved it 4 thumbs...

Don’t come here. You will wait at least an hour and 15 minutes for your drink or food to come out, and that’s if they didn’t forget about your order (the people next to us left for that reason). They forgot my drink and then when I reminded them, the drink tasted so bad- I haven’t tasted any drink that bad before, and it was just a margarita. When the food came out, our orders were wrong lol. The server doesn’t know English or French and can’t understand what we are saying to her.
