Buffalo Grill Trignac — Restaurant in Saint-Nazaire

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our recent visit to this restaurant left us genuinely disappointed. One of the biggest issues was the service—most of the waitstaff didn’t speak any English, which is understandable in France. However, what was frustrating was the complete lack of effort to communicate. Instead of trying to help us understand or meet us halfway, they just continued speaking French, seemingly indifferent to the fact that we clearly didn’t understand each other. To be fair, not all the staff were like this—some were more accommodating—but overall, it made for a very uncomfortable dining experience.

To make matters worse, our order was mixed up. We ordered a carpaccio as a starter, but instead of serving it first, they brought out our main courses before it. Nous sommes arrivés à 14h30. 20min d’attente pour avoir une table Puis 40min pour avoir nos plats Plus de pomme de terre, plus de mac and cheese plus de fraise pour les mojitos, plus de brochette de poulet. Table mal dressée,verres sales, couverts manquants, pas de sels ni de poivre sur la table. Ils nous mettent deux pains dans la barquette et si ont leur en redemande ils nous en rapportent que deux. L’eau était à température très ambiante et je vous laisse admirez les morceaux de nourriture se baignant dedans. J’ai pris une pina colada comment vous dire que même en brasserie ils font plus d’effort. Aucune paille, coktails mal mélangé et c’était que du jus d’ananas. Je l’ai renvoyés ! Concernant les frites…bon ne parlons pas de la portion de cheddar qui conviendrait cas un enfant de 3 ans. Le pire ; On a pris deux faux filets, ils étaient grillés avec un goût très intense d’amertume, immangeable Pas de remboursements négociables, en plus !on a dû le renvoyé. Je met ma main à couper que le grill n’avait pas été nettoyé depuis un moment, sinon comment justifier ce goût amer immangeable? Le patron, très culotté, est venu ce justifier (bien évidement sans excuse) en disant que la prochaine fois on devra préciser qu’on aime pas la cuisson au barbecue électrique. Nous qui avions pour habitude de manger dans les Buffalo depuis plus de 5 ans,je peux vous assurez qu’on avez jamais eu ce goût aussi amer en 24 ans d’existence ! The food was quite good, the dessert as well. The service is not very fast ,it took them 27 minutes from the time they gave us the menu till they took the order. The food came faster thankfully. The waiter was pleasant, the atmosphere was a bit barren as no music was playing for the first hour we were there, and then it was too low.
