Very friendly people - English Speaking - Chef / owner is very talented and creative with dishes - The have gluten free bread and cook special custom vegetarian dishes for me on my stay. The Salad on the picture, was made with Crispy-oven-baked cauliflower, dress with roasted garlic, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, almonds, in olive oil salt and spices, on a bed of greens. Very good flavor! - "Not on the menu, but special made for me " Super!

We are never disappointed at the Clos decours restaurant. Today as always a fine express menu of high quality fresh food. Good atmosphere and as an invalid I feel very well cared for with help whenever I need it. The chef is second to none and in my opinion is the very best fish cook in Saintes. We have been regular visitors for the past 14 years. Never disappointed with both menu , service and the wine list is exemplary.

I had such a lovely time at this restaurant! The owners are so kind and helpful, the personnel is fast and friendly. I now had several vegetarian main dishes, created on the spot by the chef and every time was just delicious! All ingredients are locally sourced and some are even from their own backyard garden, which I find a nice touch! In the calm alley you can really enjoy the French flair. I highly recommend a visit!

Really enjoyed our spontaneous dinner in this local gem. Very special dishes and great service. Would definitely come back to try different options on the menu! We tried the fois gras, the veal and macarons and chocolate cake for dessert. One recommendation is to have an english menu because it can be very challenging to understand. Thanks!
