LE BALTHAZAR — Restaurant in Sarcelles

It was one of the most unpleasant restaurant experience I ever had in any country. First we got welcomed by ice cold waitres that rolled eyes on our question could we sit at the table for 4 even though it was just two of us (restaurant was almost 90% capacity empty inside and no more than 60% on the outside) but said yes. We sat and got the Menu. Only after 15min some other waiter appears and is asking us to move to the 2 people table because the 'restaurant' is so full. We move (big mistake we didn't just leave), and wait at least 10+ minutes more for someone to finally take our order.

Worth mentioning, the same waiter was cleaning the table next to ours by just making one fake swipe with the wet cloth for multiple usage. Never replaced the cutlery we touched at the table with 4 seats. It was more important to move us than to take care for the health of the next customers.

First to arrive were drinks, nothing much to say there, water, juice, can't really mess up there? Well they could!!!! Waiter asks who to serve first??? female no? And waiter responds "ok juice for madame and one for me. Um.... how can you say that? What kind of disrespect is that. Outrageous!!!! Italian 'burgers arrive finally after a while. Delivered by some 4th person. All that person said was : here, and put the plates on the table. Enjoy? Hello??? What is with basic manners? How important is the bun for the burger? At least 50% if not more? Hard, dry, like 6 days...

TASTE (10/10): I think it was the best pizza I've ever had. I wish they had a branch around here so I could enjoy the same goodness now and then. Despite being a simple pizza, the combination of chicken and potatoes was extraordinary. The fat content and flavor were outstanding.

PLACE (9/10): The venue is excellent. No intrusive music, and it's not too crowded.

PRICE (7/10): Prices are neither too expensive nor too cheap.

SERVICE (10/10): After entering, they show you to your table and accompany you there. Then, the service begins. They also have English menus.

TREATMENT (10/10): The waitstaff is very warm and chatty. The friend who assisted us was genuinely friendly.

CLEANLINESS (10/10): Very clean.

I went there for a lunch with my babe and i must say, it's a spot that everyone should try. The menu isn't really pricy for the quality of food that you get. The location is well decorated, TVS and ambiance is nice. Service is okay, considering we're still during covid time, i'll give it a pass. The food was amazing, The steak was thick, juicy and full of flavor. I had salmon and it was the same, thick juicy. I was never impressed with French cuisine in general but this one definitely is one of my top spot that i'll definitely come back when i'm on vacation in France.
