Wahoo ! What an absolutely amazing place. It starts with the location, just in front of Roche Gajeac. The tables are set below a tent, with festive lights all around. The drinks menu is refined and elegant, with some absolute gems of wines. Then the food : everything is prepared to perfection, with the type of care that one can only dream about. The starters are generous, the mains are to die for and the deserts decadent. The côté de bœuf for 2 was just astonishingly tasty and I did steal some the Périgord chimichurri to go with it. Hungry after a long sweaty hike, we did not deserve a seat at this amazing place. We spotted the sign from the car, strong gut feeling it would be good. And it really was. Fantastic young team, at the top of their game delivering delicious, local food - serving classic French food with a modern twist. Delicious, fresh and if you love meat - it's cooked to perfection on an open flame. The atmosphere is wonderful, really cool place with the best view in Roque Gageac. The chefs fixed up a gastronomic delight in every course we had. How could things sound so simple and taste so delicious!
