Set in a beautiful village of La Roque Gageac On the banks of Dordogne on the lower main road we thought give this restaurant a go as this is a bit of a tourist honeypot town we did think it would be ok food. Walking up step stairs you come in to a covered area with light material protection from the sun and suppose rain The inside was very quaint. We opted for a Italian salad and bruschetta. When the food arrived we thought it was nice as he made sure ladies first. The food was absolutely lovely, with out sounding over the top and false it was our best Italian salad and the bruschetta, the base was so warm and soft with firmness and topping different hams and cheeses. It was good value for the price we paid. We would go back there again had it not been a one of visit. I do judge a place by its toilets and they were clean too. Friendly staff not rushing us for choices. It did get very busy, but in a nice way

Such a great restaurant in one of the prettiest villages in France. The staff are really friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The menu has both traditional local items as well as kid pleasers, the deserts are particularly good. Price was excellent, one of the cheapest restaurants we've been to in the area but the food and service were the best. The seating is great, all outdoors in a courtyard with roll-out roofing in case of rain. Perfect place, make sure to book as it is very busy!

We stopped by here for lunch during a canoe trip down the Dordogne. I had the Perigoux burger: a decadent splurge made with roast duck and giant hunks of foie gras, and my girlfriend had the normal burger. While the structural composition of my burger was such that it didn't hold together very well, the taste was phenomenal and memorable. Aside from that, the patio here has a great view of the cliffs, and the service was friendly and quick.
