I visited Beirut Restaurant in Strasbourg on the recommendation of local friends while traveling from the U.S., and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely phenomenal—every bite was bursting with fresh, authentic flavor. From the mezze to the mains, everything tasted homemade and full of love.

What makes this place even more special is that it’s a family-owned restaurant, and you can truly feel it in the warm hospitality and the personal care they put into every dish. The owners treat you less like a customer and more like a guest in their home.

Il est rare que je mette un avis, positif comme négatif sur Internet. Généralement, je préfère le donner en vrai, notamment positif, ça a tout de même plus de valeur pour le chef, l'équipe,... Mais au Beyrouth, je crois que nous n'y retournerons pas. Sans doute même jamais. Avez-vous déjà vus les serveurs autour de vous qui passent la javel pour que les odeurs vous fassent sortir plus vite ? Vous passent devant pour prendre vos verres alors que vous êtes en pleine discussion, tentant de la couper ? Qui vous disent "vous avez 5 minutes pour sortir" avec un ton dur et cassant à la fin d'un repas, et lorsque vous avez l'audace de leur faire remarquer que vous êtes sur le départ, preuve en est des manteaux sur vos épaules, en rajoute une couche avec un fabuleux "Oui, oui, c'est ça, ça fait 15 minutes que vous faites ça." ? Eh bien, nous, oui, c'est fait. Comment gâcher un repas très agréable de 2h 30 en 2 minutes montre en main. Et encore, agréable pour la compagnie que nous avions, pas même pour la nourriture, correcte au mieux (le Tarbouche ou le Schutzenberg à Schilik faisant bien mieux) ! Pour en finir avec cette diatribe, si vous possédez un Passeport Gourmand, ne vous embêtez pas à le prendre : au moins les 3/4 de la carte ne sont pas éligibles à la réduction... Awesome food, had their mix grill menu and everything from starters(hummus, toubleh, flafel) to the grill(lamb and chicken) was super flavorful. The meat was really tender and juicy. The staff was really really courteous and nice. They greeted us with a friendly demeanor, served us efficiently and kept on checking if we needed anything.
