Nazca Bar & Food — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

One of the worst dinner experiences I ever had in a restaurant. Totally not felt welcome by the waitress. At the start after ordering 6 tapas dishes we were told that everyone must take a main course otherwise we needed to leave. That was our intention anyway, but to keep the story short. Very unfriendly staff without any knowhow about serving guests. Food was ok, but due to the service not enjoyed the evening at all. One of my friends is allergic for seeds as on the burger bread. No alternative could be served while before normal bread was served with the tapas. I would recommend to look for another restaurant in Chatel for a good going...

The lady with the tattoo on her neck was an aggressive and unfriendly host. I picked up a pepper grinder to take to my table and she snatched it out of my hand from behind. We were shoved to the back and refused an 8 seater because we were a table of 6. Learn some manners! And don’t assume your customers are thieves, it doesn’t set the right tone.

The pepper grinder I took for our table was on an unused smaller table and the lady mistakenly put it back to the aforementioned (also empty) table for 8.

Excellent restaurant with lovely ambience. The food is modern, delicious and reasonably priced. We were a party of 5 and ordered a combo tapas, a burger, enchiladas and pad Thai. All were very very good. Our waiter was considerate and gave us plenty of time to choose our food, definitely worthy of a decent tip. She was also attentive when required. This is by far the best eatery that I have visited in Chatel so far and I have been here a week. Highly recommended if you happen to be in Chatel...
