LE CADET 83 — Restaurant in Toulon

Truly one of the better restaurants in Hyères and certainly one of the best along the touristy Port, where there are otherwise plenty of mediocre options.

We were received promptly and warmly, and sat outside in a lovely setting nestled by a small palm tree. The decor of the interior was also impressive. Clearly someone invested love and labor into the establishment because the food was also prepared with care. A fantastic burger and more alongside a lovely local rosé. Dessert was also grand.

Like most restaurants around this spot they offer good quality for price dishes , lunch set menus and dinners à la carte. You can rely on a selection of earthy and sea produces or opt for the dish of the day. We liked the ambience of both the indoor and outdoor tables ,quiet and relaxing for a good repas and bottle of wine . During summertime the atmosphere is irresistible just facing yachts and ships. We had a really nice lunch on the terrace. The waitress was a bit distant at first but became very helpful in assisting us with our dish choices. There may be some organizational issues at this establishment, as the outdoor waitress was alone while the terrace was full, and the indoor area, with only two diners, had a waitress who didn't seem in a hurry to assist outside. Just my observation, no judgment.
