Granted that we came without reservations, so the customers in the 3 separate tables surrounding us were ALL served food before us…BUT they all literally finished eating and that’s when we FINALLY got served. Entree was served over 30 minutes later, Plat over 30 minutes of waiting as well. I am appalled. When I called out about it to the waiter, he gave a lame excuse about a big group arriving before us. But it doesn’t justify that all the other smaller tables coming after us, just coz they had reservations..all were served before us. I didn’t answer back just because it will be an argument, I felt the bad attitude of the waiter. His « sorry, not sorry » demeanor. Water, wine..Everything came so late. So it’s not because of a big group. It’s coz of bad service. Period.
Food is mediocre French. Thé œuf was standard with some truffle oil. Beef, not tender enough and the peas purée was not well balanced with the sauce. Nothing gastronomic here. It’s haute cuisine so it will always be good food, but if you are a gastro foodie who would want to have a good dining experience, I recommend not to take your chances here for dinner. The restaurant is too big and they are understaffed. I’ve had lunch before, which was okay, frankly I was not impressed the first time but I gave it another try for dinner just because at 30€ for E+P, it seemed less expensive than other haute cuisine restaurants. It’s good meal, yes..But not worth paying 30€ for dinner price. Perhaps 20€ for lunch price, yes. For sure. But not going back here to give a third try, that’s...

Read moreWent there for Valentines and took the set menu.
The place had a good atmosphere, great for a couple’s dinner.
We started with the cocktails: “First Kiss” and “Last Kiss”. The first was cassis based and the second citrus fruit and peach based. Both were good.
The tasting menu was also good, the main dish though, the fish, had an amazing idea that fell short. A croissant based sauce! The dish lacked seasoning, and acidic flavours to make it more well rounded.
The service, though was slow, was great in the sense that they offered us 2 glasses of champagne to compensate for the error which led to us waiting a long time for the food. Always a...
