Franquette — Restaurant in Toulouse

Lovely little place, with great location and excellent value for money.

For 20€ + 3.80 for wine, I had a three course meal in this super chill square, sitting for almost two hours -- dishes are all freshly prepared, it can take time so don't come if you're in a rush but it's worth the time, plus, the location is just so relaxing.

Very happy to discover this, on a random walk.

The meal is high quality and large, so you most likely will need a tiny, cheap dinner or even none (this can be useful to know for those on a budget, who are still trying to avoid eating junk food. If that's you, head here)

On top of that, staff is kind and offers good service :)

The food was very delicious. The waiter was polite. That's why I still give 3 start. But the table in front of the door is horrible. When people left or entered the restaurant the door was never really closed. Therefore the cold wind was always blowing to my table. I had to close several times the door by myself even if the waiter went outside. Besides that there were actually other tables avaliable. At the end I canceled the dessert and left because I couldn't enjoy the moment with the cold wind. I recommend to leave the restaurant before starting if it's a cold day and you are seated at the table in front...

Très bon moment savouré vendredi dernier dans ce petit restaurant français aux accents de méditerranée. Le cadre et la déco ont leur petit charme bien à eux que nous avons vraiment apprécié en amoureux.

Côté accueil, le serveur est très présent, toujours là pour demander si tout se passe bien et être à notre écoute en cas de besoin.

Côté cuisine : En entrée, nous avons dégusté un excellent oeuf parfait avec sa sauce à mouillette pleine de gourmandise. Moi qui ne connaissais que les asperges à l'eau, les deux asperges de l'entrée ont su séduire mes papilles ! Nos deux desserts, une tarte tatin à la poire et brioche perdue à la crème citronnée, étaient une véritable régalade de gourmandise.

Bref, un excellent moment, en tous goûts et tous points! Hâte de revenir dans les prochaines semaines pour découvrir les nouvelles compositions de chaque carte, qui change chaque semaine pour le plaisir de nos papilles.
