This church is surprising, tucked away in a side street. Amazingly, you find Mary as the main focus of the church. She is behind and above the altar. A dome has been built around her to emphasise her importance. This is one of the Black Madonna s, many of whom are associated with miracles. Jesus, on the cross, seems to be an afterthought, placed as he is in a corner by the entrance.
