Buffalo Grill Tours — Restaurant in Tours

It was a very busy Sunday early afternoon ( a lot of restaurants in this area of France seem to shut at 2.00pm on a Sunday). We called in on the way to the airport. It took ages for someone to get us at the 'wait to be seated' point. Once we were seated we waited another age for someone to come to the table, only to be told by then that we should order our food online - he gave us a QR code to scan. He did take a drinks order from us but again we waited over 20 minutes for the drinks to come to the table. The food was served a short while after. It was ok. I had a beef skewer and the meat was so tough, I could only chew it and then take it out of my mouth and put it back on the plate. A shame because the flavour was lovely. The other meals were burgers and they weren't so bad. All in all, I didn't feel it was good value for money. I was quite disappointed because we have eaten in buffalo grills before, albeit several years ago and they were great. Hopefully this was just a one off...

My husband had great memories from this restaurant in his 20's when he was a hitchhiker after a "few" years we bump in our way to Spain with this delicious restaurant. We came in at 19;45 without a reservation, luckily early for French dinner time, got immediately a table, the waiter didn't speak English but the restaurant works with a QR code which is wonderful, after 2 minutes we got salad and warm bread. With QR code we ordered our drinks, appetizers and main courses online, the waiter was all the time checking on us and tried to communicate in french. The whole meal was delicious, from the starters of mozzarella cheese, friend chicken wings and onion rings until our tender steaks with french fries and BBQ sauce. Until now had never eaten at a Buffalo Grill restaurant. Was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. A wide range of foods. I would like it to a Harvester if you're from the UK. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Made especial efforts as French is not my first language. Even provided a 2D barcoded link to a website you can view and order food in multiple languages, even pay. Food was quick and a good quality. I felt it was reasonable value and it is open long hours.
