Two Asian girls curious about African food stumbled into this eatery in the evening. What struck me was casual and homely the place was. Yes the decor is plain, and there is no typical service of what you would expect of a restaurant, but what you get is straight up smiles, honest food recommendation, and earnest authentic cooking. Fully recommend for those days when you want a meal that warms the heart and the tummy.

Trying African food in France … seems strange but I’m glad we tried this place. It’s like coming home to mama’s cooking after a long tiring day. The food tasted great and the portions were generous! The people were friendly and explained the menu items patiently to us as we didn’t know what’s what. Warms the tummy warms the heart

C'est un truc qui ressemble à un restaurant africain. Nous étions (9)à Tours dans le cadre d'un programme d'évangélisation. On voulait manger africain. Mais nous étions extrêmement déçus. La gérante est d'une Insolence qui ne dit pas son nom. Elle nous a servi des os de mouton à la place de mouton braisé. Zéro servi pas de couverts ni verres. Obligée d'aller chercher nous même notre boissons...
