Bistro Rossini — Restaurant in Tours

We ordered the "Perigourdine", duck fois gras pasta dish, and the "Rotisserie de la mer", assortment of seafood with rice and vegetables. The duck was very tough and the pasta sauce was very bland. The seafood was overcooked and also very bland despite the appearance of some kind of seasoning throughout the dish. My friend got very sick after eating here, so be careful with what you order if you decide to visit. On the other hand, the "tapas du bouchon" appetizer was good. Bistro Rossini is the best restaurant we ate at in Tours and probably all of France! It's located near the train station. The owners are nice, the staff are friendly, the food is fresh & delicious, and they will cater to your needs. We had foie gras and seafood there, and they were superb! Kind of an odd place at first impression but I think we were just there pretty early in the evening. Once the food came out it was very good. I mean I've had better food in France but the apricot tarte was AMAZING and the fish that was wrapped in almost paper was very good mom's chicken was not exactly what we were expecting...
