We had a reservation for 17 June and were seated on time. However, our experience quickly turned disappointing. While every other table seemed to be promptly offered menus, we waited for about 5 minutes without being approached by any staff. Eventually, we had to walk up to the counter and pick up the menus ourselves.

Unfortunately, the service did not improve from there. After deciding what to order, we tried to get the attention of the staff—politely calling out to the servers 5-6 times over the next 10 minutes. Despite being visible and clearly trying to engage with them, we were repeatedly told to wait while they continued attending to other tables, seating new guests, and taking orders from others around us.

After about 15 minutes of being overlooked, it became clear that we were not going to receive the same level of attention or service as other diners. Feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable, we quietly returned the menus to the counter and chose to leave without dining, despite having made a reservation and looking forward to the experience.

No one enjoys spending their time or money at a place where they feel ignored or treated unfairly. I hope this feedback encourages the team to reflect on how every guest deserves to feel acknowledged...

La Cantina...La Disappointed! After an enriching experience at the historic Chateau Versailles, we looked forward to finishing the day with an elegant dining experience at the La Catina. The restaurant was classy, and the servers were casuallly refined without being pretentious. We were famished after an exhausting day, so we ordered the linguini with meatballs. The dish arrived pleasantly plated, however we were taken back at portions; considering the 19€ price on the menu. The meatballs were substantial, however there may have been about a dozen strands of linguini!! The meatballs to pasta ratio was disproportionate. Within a couple of fork fulls, I was left with just meatballs and sauce. Thank goodness for the bread. The meatballs and sauce were tasty, definitely homemade; however I would have preferred to finish the last of the sauce with a mossel of meatball swirled around a fork full of linguini. We completely understand restaurants are recovering after the impacts of COVID, however cutting value to your customers, doesn't create a memorable experience, or desire for a return. We left Versailles as the la disappointed...

What stood out even more was their thoughtfulness in accommodating different dietary preferences, ensuring there's something for everyone.

The exceptional service added to the experience. The knowledgeable and enthusiastic wat staff went the extra mile to make our visit memorable. Their attentiveness and efficiency reflected a genuine dedication to customer satisfaction.

All in all, it is a hidden treasure that deserves high praise. Whether you're a pizza enthusiast or seeking an overall exceptional dining experience, this establishment has you covered. I left feeling both content and eager for a return visit, knowing I'd be welcomed with the same warmth and treated to another round of delectable pizzas. Don't miss out on this...
