Yakitokyo — Restaurant in Versailles

The sushi was amazing, fresh and melting in the mouth. Properly cooked rise and good quality salmon. Very good service. Even if the lady serving food speaks very little English, the hospitality was best possible. Price is reasonable, I would even call it a really good bang for the buck based on food quality. Lots to choose from. We took Royale Plateau for 55 Eur for the whole family of 4 and it was more than enough for us. They also have at least 2 sorts of Japanse beers and sake, but the regular wine in the glass was good too. Wanted to try this place for lunch after reading all the good reviews. We arrived at 11:37, which was supposed to be after they opened. Their door was open but lights were off. I asked if they were open, the man behind the counter rudely waved no. He came up to the front and pointed at the sign on the door, which had their opening hours, then tapped his watch before waving us away. The sign clearly stated 11:30 as their opening time, I don't understand why he was making us feel like we were the ones in the wrong when they were the ones who weren't open on time. We left and...

After a couple of days at the Waldorf and Versailles Palace grounds, it was nice to take a walk one evening into the town of Versailles. Found this nice little Japanese restaurant and enjoyed a delicious dinner and drinks. We ordered two different kinds of dinners and did a little bit of sharing. Very relaxing ambience and enjoyed our time. Prices were excellent considering the quality and quantity of food. Enjoyed watching the evening pedestrians and cars driving by.
