During my recent overnight trip to Batumi, I had the pleasure of staying at Le Meridien Batumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel's location was absolutely ideal, as it was within walking distance from the beach and major tourist attractions.
The staff at Le Meridien Batumi deserves special recognition for their pleasant and inviting demeanor. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. Their exceptional hospitality added an extra touch of comfort to my stay.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. It was truly wonderful, offering a wide range of delectable options to suit different tastes. However, as a Muslim, I would have appreciated a few more halal choices. Nonetheless, the quality and variety of the available dishes were impressive.
The hotel's gym and spa facilities were top-notch. They were well equipped, allowing me to maintain my fitness routine and enjoy some relaxation. It was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the city.
I was fortunate to be upgraded to a modern, spacious, and well-equipped room. It exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and amenities. However, it would have been even better if they had provided access to YouTube TV and Netflix or offered a way to cast content to the screen.
Overall, I highly recommend Le Meridien Batumi for its prime location, friendly staff, delectable breakfast buffet, and excellent gym and spa facilities. While there were minor areas for improvement, such as increasing halal choices and enhancing in-room entertainment options, the overall experience was truly welcoming and memorable. I would gladly return to this hotel on future...
Read moreWhile staff and the common areas are great, the building and management has serious problems. The AC worked poorly and I had to move to a different room where the AC worked better but still couldn't cool lower than 23C despite the outside weather only being around 25C. The shower water temperature would alternate between warm and scalding hot. Electricity would occasionally turn off in the room, and the bathroom mirror light flickered. Room phones didn't work in either room until I complained, and the staff rewired it to be charged. The wifi in my room was slow, around 3 mbps, making remote work more difficult. I also found the room furniture uncomfortable, and the room door was heavy and difficult to open and close. Later, I learned this building was designed to be a university and ultimately converted to a hotel, which may explain some of these shortcomings.||I also endured a bizarre incident where I asked the concierge to have my room towels and water to be replaced (no cleaning), but the maid decided to clean anyway and took away my shopping bag with personal belongings, thinking it was trash. I was horrified to find it missing and demanded it back. My bag came back full of garbage. This is absolutely terrible and unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. To their credit, the management made up by offering free laundry service, but I'd rather not have my personal things touched, period.||On the upside: the restaurant has amazing breakfasts and the best adjari hachapuri for dinner. The outside rooftop pool is amazing, and the fitness center and spa are big and offer many options. The private room terrace has a nice view. Location is minutes from the beach and boardwalk, and...
Read moreWe loved staying in this hotel. Beautiful hotel with an excellent location. But most importantly hotel staff deserves a lot of credit and praise, What a lovely professional personnel!!! My toddler was surrounded with so much kindness and love, all our needs were met. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. You really get what you paid for. Our sweet receptionist ( I wish I remembered her name ) upgraded our stay ( we had 2 different reservations one in deluxe room and another one in regular room.) The entire time we stayed in deluxe room. She also sent to my toddler basket full of sweets. We really wanted to thank her with a gift and nice tip but she wasn't working in our last few days, (very sad about that, she was just amazing) Spa was excellent and I think I had one of the best massages of my life. Spa receptionist guy was also so sweet and nice. Delicious food. Best breakfast in the entire city without the doubt and coffee and same prices as in any other coffee shops. Excellent egg Benedict. We also tried chefs tasting menu it was delicious and quite cheap and everything else we delicious as well. Our waitress was also so adorable and sweet. I also didn't get her name but she has red hair. And we loved so much listening to piano playing during our breakfast. What a talented person.
IF we will come back to batumi again we will stay here again. We have so much appreciation and love to everyone that made our stay...
