We have had Ostri 4-5times across Georgia and actually did not expect to have such a delicious meal here in tiny village Ushguli. My apologies, we were wrong!

With Georgian corn bread dipping into the stew, we ate up to the last drop of the sause😋 By the way, the portions are large, too.

Great service (in well spoken English) and really authentic, great food. Best food we have had while staying in Ushguli for a few days, especially the Tashmjab (traditional molten cheese) was a highlight. The view is great and inside is cosy inside an ancient tower. Most homemade wines we tried in Ushguli were very sour and not great, yet here the homemade wine is quite good. Price is slightly more expensive than other places around but...
