I wanted a quick bite before my Chinese lesson at 9pm and I recalled that there were many one and five star reviews for this venue so I wanted to render my own judgment. Overall, this venue is a good Chinese fast food outlet but, don't kid yourself, Dimsumin is not a restaurant. The menu is very limited; you are not going to find any main courses here that you might associate with a genuine Chinese restaurant like beef in oyster sauce or Sichuan pork or Peking duck or beef in orange sauce. However, I ordered two orders of the fried pork dumplings (total=16) with chili oil hot sauce and I was pleased (although the hot sauce was not as hot as it should have been. I would also say that the jaouzi at Chinese Shack near Orbeliani/Pirimze, when available, are more delicious.) I also ordered chicken chow mein, which was okay, but not as savoury as it might have been; amount of chicken was not very generous. Pleasant place to dine in a modestly-sized dining room; not very crowded in a Saturday night. Service was very good. Good-natured, helpful waiter; I cannot find anything adverse to say about the service. When you order, you pay in advance even if you dine-in so I cannot fathom those negative reviews in which the commentator rails against waiting for the bill for a long time. Sufficed for my purposes: a quick meal before a class at 9pm. İf you find yourself in the environs of Saburtalo mall, you can give Dimsumin a go. I have to say, however, Dimsumin is a misnomer as no dimsum is served and tdhe venue otherwise positions itself as a Chinese, not a...

I was very hungry, and waited too long, so made some pictures at the end of the meal.
In addition, they illegally add VAT 10% of the cost - this tax should have been included in the cost of the dish in all establishments for over a year now.
TBH the waitress is very nice, but seems inexperienced - she brought me the wrong dishes cooked for another table twice. Perhaps she was just very tired. This is not surprising - she alone performs the roles of waiter, cashier, and cleaner.
It is obvious to me that the management of this placer does not care about it. If they do not care of taste, reputation, quality, I would not advise anybody to visit it.
Totally disappointing experience.
But there is the one good option — small cute market with hand-made things. Wooden...
Read moreThe staff there was horrendous, though it had good seating place but apart from that I don’t think so there was any plus point in that restaurant, food being overpriced, staff living in their own cocoon especially in the times the customer needs any help. Firstly they didn’t even present a menu and directly came for ordering. Secondly, we had ordered 2 chow mein but the waiter there didn’t hear us properly or just pretended to ignore idk but he just brought one chowmein and this act itself was irking .Then finally when we asked for the bill it bloody took that person 15-20 mins to get it. And though the ambiance of the place was fine but our table was placed in such a position that it was pointing towards the washroom and they had no courtesy at all to close it…. Barely a soul or two is seen sitting in the restaurant. I would never recommend anyone...
