Sushi-Samurai — Restaurant in Aschaffenburg

Writing this review after several frustrating experiences with Sushi-Samurai.

The food is fine - while the prices are a little high, it's reasonable for decent quality sushi.

However, it is almost impossible to place an order. Every time we call, nobody picks up the phone. We've tried going in to place an order, but were ignored for a very long time so we left.

When we are actually able to get through, the experience is fine. But we've stopped trying to place an order lately because it is so difficult to actually reach someone. I would really encourage them to get an online ordering app or additional people to take orders, especially since Take Out is the only option for...

Best sushi I've had in Aschaffenburg. The temperature and the taste were just as they were supposed to be. The menu offers a lot more variety than other places I've visited in this city. Sushi they offer is made of at least 5 different fish and they also make some with few types of seashells. The waitress was kind enough to replace vegetables with fish in our makis without charging extra for it, however she didn't understand it in German so we had to ask her in English. Recommended if you want to try the tastiest sushi in Aschaffenburg, and I have no idea why...

Still the best place for sushi in the whole of Aschaffenburg!

We still know Samurai Sushi from the old location. Since then, the interior has improved a lot. Now it is even more inviting and the Japanese style is even more emphasised. And the quality has not diminished. The fish is always fresh and there's not much to miss in terms of sushi variation. The rice is properly prepared, sticky but not mushy and with the right amount of mirin, vinegar and sugar.

Unfortunately, we can't come here as often as we used to, but we're already looking forward to...
