Asia Restaurant Hong — Restaurant in Baden-Baden

We ordered wonton soup, Tom Yum Gai, Pho Bo and Nasi Goreng. I would say all are not really Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai/Indonesian. If you are coming here, please expect to have different Asian dishes that fit into the local taste only. The wonton in the wonton soup is made with dough wraps that are supposed to be used for deep fried dumplings. The Tom Yum Gai is okay. But you can taste that all ingredients are being put at the last minute instead of being cooked together with the broth. Pho Bo is disappointing. The soup is strangely with a layer of red oil. Comfort Asian food in the cold winter! We had Hong for 2 consecutive days! Ordered the glass noodles with vegetable, Tom yum soup and a rice with chicken, all tastes good! Not spicy for Asian tastebuds, though maybe a tad too salty for some dishes but overall for an Asian restaurant in a European country it is good standard. We ordered take away the next day, tried their crispy duck wf curry - the curry is a bit different slightly on the sour side. Nevertheless we enjoyed our meal! The food is not that authentic. We have ordered pad thai, and it is just like how nudelbox cooked. The pho is ok, but while we were eating, we found there is an insect (very big) inside it. The boss of the restaurant just used a spoon to put the insect out and let us continue to eat. We cannot eat it anymore since it is unhealthy. We asked the boss to change another half bowl of soup(pho). She refused in a rude way. We then asked her not to pay for the disgusting soup or only pay half of it.
