100 Brote — Restaurant in Berlin

Wasn't impressed. The food was not great and quite overpriced. The waiter rhather rude. And they have no bathroom, permanently. Which you realize after spending 30 euro on coffe and sandwiches for 2 pax. And you can't lend a bathroom nearby as the surrounding cafés are annoyed that they are asked by costumers from this café all throughout the day (understndably). And yes, you can have tap water but only 1 dl each, as "the sizes in germany are smaller" ... what?!

THANK GOD for the editing function. In response to your response: First of all, there weren't any female staff when we arrived. We met you behind the desk, and were super impressed with your menu, which we told you repeatedly. Super offensive, I know.

Second of all, i'm so sorry I expected a bathroom. I had walked a long way to find your cafe and expected to have the chance to empty my blatter before eating my food. You didn't have one, you had no advice to where to find one. Super demanding, I know. A kind advice, maybe spend the extra money you obviously earn from not giving out more than a shot of tap water on building a customer toilet. That would save you from a lot of annoying comments (your own words).

Third of all, we've had an absolute blast reading your reviews and 'out of this world' offensive responses, another kind advice - to be called out for your rudeness again and again and again is not a trait. It would suit you to be a bit more open minded to critique from the people who actually makes your living.

Just to sum up: build a toilet for your customers and gain a bit of self awareness....

Overall, I didn’t enjoy my stay at this coffee place. I ordered an Americano and a cinnamon roll and paid around €7.50, I think. I found it a little overpriced, since they were nothing to write home about.

Then, when I went to sit down, the owner asked me to sit in one of the designated laptop areas. He wasn’t rude or anything; he told me politely, but I was later surprised to see that there were no places to plug in a computer…

I have read a couple of reviews before leaving mine, and apparently the owner dislikes people leaving reviews about anything related to laptops, so maybe it would be better to just not offer that kind of service clearly beforehand.

The staff was the rudest I have ever encountered. In 5 minutes of service, they managed to humiliate us for taking a few seconds to decide what we want, we ordered ice coffee and they gave us hot coffee and yelled at us for asking to replace it, and the sandwich had a giant hair in it and he told us we were lying about it. We wanted a quiet nice morning and was just super humiliating. We left there in tears. NEVER GO THERE.

Regarding the staff’s comment: Reading other reviews about the rudeness of the staff, I see now we are not the only ones who experienced such bad service, and then accused of being horrible people in the comment of the owner. This actually makes me feel in good company. Perhaps not everyone is meant for people-oriented work...
