A nicely appointed cafe with plenty of ambience in a quiet location near Kudamm in one of the nicest areas of Berlin. Very reasonable prices throughout the menu.
Service was pretty good, and it wasn't too busy, so it was fairly easy to get a table. Unusual for Berlin, but I think the fact that they only take cash may well have a bearing on the fact it isn't as popular as some in the area.
We had lunch there and started with a cappuccino, which was average and an Americano, which was better.

They offered to put me somewhere into the dark but I chose to leave the place and I definitely won't...

The waitress is an older lady who although going through something probably serious and obviously sad managed to smile at us and be efficient with her job. We somehow paid less (but tipped enough to cover it) and were overall very happy but quite in distress. Hope the lady is ok. The food as mentioned is great and the cakes looked good. Just the staircase that leads to the bathroom can pose a difficulty as it...
