Terzo Mondo — Restaurant in Berlin

You have to witness this jewel of a restaurant to get the point. It is no typical greek restaurant as one often finds in Germany. It is an experience and a memorable night filled with simple love-filled, gourmet, down-home Greek food and ambiance for lovers, friends, and politicians who need to hear a good song or two. Recently, I was there with my brother visiting from the USA. They were fully booked due to the cabaret show in their back-of-house theater, but they organized a perfect table for us thanks to Morditsa who was a skillful Maitre D' that night. Panos, our waiter, gave us the ideal tips for Greek wine and other drinks to accompany our satisfying vegetarian order. Around dessert time, the owner, the son of the founder, went up to the microphones with a guitar and sang a few tender ballads as his father used to do.

The point of Terzo Mondo is also in that it is former West German history. I discovered it in a meeting with a founding member of the Green Party. She brought me there and pointed out other diplomats and politicians, explaining to me the significance of this restaurant as a meeting place for people discussing heavy matters affecting millions of lives.

It is a favorite restaurant in Berlin by far because of the complete package, from staff and food to ambiance...

Such a nice place, with good food, but most of all excellent service! Panos knows definitely how to make you feel welcome and offer you everything that this restaurant can do for its customers, in order to return again and again 😍!! Also, excellent work from the owner for the atmosphere, the music ...but most of all professional stuff like Panos.

The rumpsteak was definitely one of the highlights, but we were already positively influenced from our waiter's discretion 😋 Awesome appetizers, everything cooked fresh and nothing prepared... By far one of the best restaurants in Berlin! Thank you for the amazing experience🙏

Came here on Valentine's Day with my husband. We'd never been in this area before, and walked around for a while looking at different places - this looked much cooler than any other place in the area (mostly new-looking hipstery places that were completely full). Somehow, this place had lots of space and such a wonderful atmosphere - great (live!) music, really awesome decoration; we felt right at home. The food was great; Panos gave us a great wine recommendation, as well as recommendations for other things to do in the area - amazing service, and we'll definitely be back.
