I wanted to dine in and got an assortment of Baklava for myself to the amount of 11€. Got served with a paper dish, which is fine, but no utensils so I had to use my hands. Which I personally don't really care about but it was really difficult eating the big ones since I had nothing to portion it up right, just had my fingers.
The food itself was okay. Not anything special but also kind of burnt and swimming in syrup which destroyed the texture of most of them.
When I was sitting there (around 15minutes) a crew of kids came by knocked and screamed and sneezed into the store with the woman doing nothing to reprimand them. So odd to see.
1 star for now but I'll probably revisit it since I think I picked a really bad day.
Edit after Owner response: I'll revisit it soon and we'll see, but I mean I even took a picture right, you obviously serve with paper plates to some extend. I also wasnt the only person who got served with a paper plate. A middle aged couple also got both their orders on a paper plate and no utensils dine in and all.
Edit after revisiting: Better experience than I had the last time but It was obviously a massive lie that they don't serve on a paper plate. Third photo is from the second visit but this time I was told where the utensils are at least. Baklavas were nice this time. Well balanced, sorta fresh. Presentation or just how it was put on the plate was a bit questionable tho but that's nitpicking. Adding to that, that last time I was there it was probably the worst it could ever be.
2 stars because I don't like being lied to. Would've been 3.5 if...
Read moreWe were there @20.30 and even the lady were inside, they locked the door and didn’t sell baklava to us. I understand, they need to close the shop half an hour earlier and fair enough but they could sell for take away. Even we begged for take away, we couldn’t get it. As a Turkish person, I found it against Turkish hospitality. If you’re planning to go there, don’t trap closing time and go...
Read moreSad to change my comment from 5star to 1. I bought regular baklava and kadayif as they were my favorite in Berlin, and It has nothing to do with the one I tried here earlier. Kadayif tasted nothing but plastic, not over exaggerating. Not good quality of butter and sweetener. Also regular baklava was not crispy and good quality....
