Café Señorita Ploff — Restaurant in Berlin

Wonderful cafe that I took the time to travel to today as all my friends said that the home Made cakes are delicious and the owner if she is very friendly and chatty, which wasn't so important the cakes were though and yummy yummy yummy! I ate three different things a chocolate cake, a cookie and a lemon something came which was my favourite, moist, sweet, slight sour frosting on top! I would have eaten more but I was full, stupidly on arrival. The prices are really fair especially compared to fhain pberg and xberg... Really fair! I had a coffee as well and that was also really really really good! I watched all the food which others order arrive at the table and everything looked perfect! I kept on hearing the guest say that everything was really really good. So I'm coming back here to eat all the other things on the menu that I didn't get a chance to eat this time. This place is well worth visiting and traveling halfway across the city...

The cafe itself looks stylish, as a lot of Berlin cafes are and we may have been just unlucky with our waiter, but considering the place wasn't jam packed we had to wait 20 minutes for a coffee and a smoothie, and our food just did not arrive. After 45 minutes , we very politely asked if he has actually started making our food yet, because if not, we'd really rather go (as we wanted to explore Berlin outside this cafe), to which the reply was an outraged 'get out'. I am not sure if the waiter was actually mentally ill, or just couldn't take the stress of making more than one coffee at a time, but in any case - not going back and not recommending...

I'm a bit biased (guilty as charged) since I've been going to this cafe ever since I moved into the area! I love everything about it and the food is spectacular. It's hard for me to pick my favourite dish but if put under a lot of pressure I would go for the eggs benedict (Salmon). It's the best in Berlin. There. I said it. Absolutely to die for. I also love the cakes. They're just incredible. Julio and his staff really know how to charm a crowd. If you've not visited the place yet, hurry. It's been getting...
