Edit: Unfortunately we now have to speculate that the cream cheese was maybe only scraped off the bread and replaced with hummus, since we now experience the typical symptoms of eating dairy when lactose intolerant! (also the plate came back not even 5 minutes later, which supports this suspision) Service is incredibly slow, we waited about 5 minutes to be seated. When we finally sat down the waiter just left instead of asking us for drinks, so we had to wait another 15 minutes. Finally a young lady took our orders, but only the dishes arrived, the beverages where forgotten. We asked for 2 waters and 2 coffees it took another 15 minutes for this to arrive at our table.
While ordering we mentioned lactose intolerance, but apparently that was not important to the waitress so they replaced the cream sauce with cream cheese, which obviously makes no sense. The shakshuka was bland and tasted like tomato sauce from a jar. I expect seasoning when I read "oriental" there was none. The salad that was supposed to come with it was on top of it and of course warm and therefore inedible.
My plate was barely touched, yet no-one bothered to ask if something was wrong with the food when we payed.
Besides that the setting was nice but extremely crowded since they also had some sort of book signing right there, which made a relaxed brunch impossible because there was constant commotion around our table.
Overall the experience was terrible, the food was bland and the service was bad. We are not coming back or recommending this overhyped place. Every penny spent there is a waste of your hard...

Our waiter was great. She was the blonde woman with a grey shirt and black trousers serving tables. However, the kitchen really ruined the experience. Food took over 1h to arrive, and there were several issues. The pancakes were drenched in sauce and were soaked by the time they arrived, we did not end up eating them. The egg was good but there was too much cheese sauce on the waffle and the salad was heavily overdressed, we did not end up eating it. The Falafel (even though there were just two) were good, and so was the hummus, but the vegetables were barely spiced and tasted more like cold pieces of rubber than anything, we also could not eat those or the salad which was also overdressed. Also the bread was stale. It all just looked like they just plopped the ingredients on the plates. In total we paid 45€ to sit there for 1h waiting for food and another 30 minutes realising that we won't be wanting to eat the food.
The location is lovely though and our waitress really tried to improve our experience but it was clear that the back bar staff and kitchen staff was not up to the task and also not understanding of her pleas for support (which we overheard when we went to pay). There is a lot of potential but there are serious issues that they have to improve on, in the meantime I would suggest to only...
Read moreCame here for brunch, had reserved a table which they forgot about, luckily it was pretty empty. The food looked nice, instagrammable, that was all it had going for it. We had the pancakes and the strammer max waffle which came with a fried egg. Naively we assumed that dishes like pancakes and fried eggs come straight off the pan onto the plate, that the waffle makes its way fresh out of the waffle iron, how wrong we were. The food was not even lukewarm, it was cold. The egg was gummy, as though it had been out on a plate for at least an hour. All elements of the dishes were like this, as though the kitchen had prepared all food items hours ago and simply planted them when an order came in. The pancakes were said to include pecans, instead, walnuts were sprinkled liberally. I am allergic to walnuts. The salad with the waffle was wilted and absolutely drenched in dressing. The cappuccino tasted like nothing. The fresh orange juice was not fresh. You order at the bar and the food is eventually brought to the table. They forgot the cutlery though. Again, the place was almost empty, it's not like we ordered in a breakfast rush, maybe that was...
