The food here is good. Probably the best pakora I've ever had. I've eaten a lot of Indian food and a lot of places will just deep-fry carelessly, but Avtaar's pakora batter is seasoned, not greasy, and really a great texture. The food is well-seasoned and vegetables are fresh with a nice consistency. We ordered the medium spicy and that is what we got. We were suspicious of their cheap happy hour cocktails, but they were great! And garnished with nice, generous slices of ripe melon. Only one word of caution: if you order the vegan dishes, make sure to ask them not to put yogurt on the side salad. They were a little careless about that. Overall, the food is really good, the prices are very fair, and the place has a fun atmosphere. I see they have some negative reviews, but they seem to be older, so maybe they got a new cook because I found them to be a very solid choice for Indian in this...

Ich weiß nicht woher diese positiven Bewertungen kommen aber die kann man ja heutzutage auch kaufen also ich bin heute in dieses Restaurant hinein gegangen weil ich Lust auf indisch hatte. Es war etwas komisch Das überhaupt keine Leute drinne waren das hätte mir schon die Warnsignale geben können. Aber nun gut ich hatte ja Lust auf indisch, Das Personal war nett aber der eine Kellner hat mich so gut wie nicht verstanden dann kam immer noch ein Zweit Kellner um den anderen Kellner zu helfen. Nun gut ich hab mir dann halt was bestellt vom Mittags Menü und es war alles andere als lecker ich hatte ein bisschen Salat bekommen ohne Dressing ohne Öl oder Zitrone gar nichts und selbst eine Scheibe Gurke war da drinne die schon ab gebissen worden ist von einem anderen Kunden und wieder in den nächsten Salat rein geworfen worden ist was ich richtig unappetitlich fand ist schon eigentlich sagen hätte können nein danke, ich hab natürlich Den Salat nicht gegessen und dem Kellner gesagt das die Gurke schon angebissen worden ist, Ja aber mich nicht verstanden hat und dachte ich hätte gerne eine Sauce drauf kam mit mein neuen Salat an, Ich habe kein Appetit mehr gehabt. Nun ich hatte halt Bärenhunger und hab halt was bestellt gehabt und das Essen kam dann halt auch mit einer Vorspeise eine Suppe und meinen bestellten. Ich hab noch nie sowas liebloses gesehen wie dieses Gericht heute. Das bestellte war kam auch recht zügig das Hähnchen war heiß es war Gemüse drin wie Paprika und Zwiebel. Aber man hat geschmeckt dass das Hähnchen nicht frisch war ich weiß nicht wie lange schon bei den im Kühlschrank lag es war halt vom Vortag bestimmt mariniert. Ich hab’s halt gegessen weil ich Hunger hatte. Die Rechnung war 12,30 € für ein bisschen essen und ne Cola da hat man mich auch nicht gefragt welche Größe die war drei Euro das Gericht war 6,90 € dann habe ich mir halt zusätzlich noch Brot mit Käse bestellt. Dieses Restaurant nicht mehr als ein Stern verdient...

Place is cozy and has a great indian atmosphere. Food is fair compared to the price. Service is friendly - but they made so many mistakes during our visit. First they gave us a wrong course, then when we wanted the check and pack the remaining food they forgot us (only 3 tables full at the restuarant at the time for 2 waiters to serve) . We found the 2 waiters sitting and talking privately on the phones and had to wait further 5 minuttes for them to finish and to give us the check and pack the food.
