Für mich gehört sie zu den schlechtesten Currywürsten die ich bis jetzt gegessen habe. Schon am Anfang meiner Bestellung war ich verwundert da es nur Currywurst ohne Darm gab, für mich ist das „Berliner Original“ mit Darm, ohne jeden Zweifel. Das hätte ich, bei einen guten Qualität der Wurst, durchaus verkraften können. Leider wurde ich enttäuscht, die Konsistenz der Wurst war sehr weich, fast schwammig und im Geschmack nicht überzeugend. Der Ketchup war sehr würzig und leider wenig tomatig, auch in der Konsistenz waren Tomaten nicht mal zu erahnen. Die Pommes Frites dazu waren nichts besonderes und mit üblichen „Pommesgewürzsalz“ gesalzen. Die Mayonnaise war übliche Salat - Mayonnaise, meiner Meinung nach auch nicht die beste Wahl zu Pommes Frites.

Der Service war gut, ich musste nicht sehr lange warten, die Dame die mich bediente war freundlich und hatte sogar noch einen schönen Abend gewünscht, heutzutage leider nicht mehr üblich und daher sollte dies erwähnt werden. Wäre der Service schlechter gewesen hätte ich meinen Besuch mit nur einem Stern bewertet.

Alles in allem dachte ich bei den Bewertungen die ich gelesen hatte, dass es mir besser schmecken würde. Augenscheinlich ist Currywurst die Haupteinnahmequelle dieses Geschäfts da sollte doch die Qualität auch...

Excellent currywurst which ha sbeen open for over 20 years.

Fries are always cooked fresh, sausage is also not dried out due turnover of the prroduce.

Try the homemade potato salad which is very nice.

The two guys that work there are always friendly and your custom feels appreciated.

Far better than Konnopke's...
