Bui Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Berlin

So if you’re white and German this place is possibly for you. Coz we couldn’t even get tk the point of tasting the food.

A South African friend of mine and I went here today. We were treated very poorly because we “asked too many questions and were “komisch”.”

All my conversations were in German.

Q1. I asked her if they takes “debit card” since I saw the “not credit card” sign. My mistake. I forgot Germany doesn’t differentiate colloquially between the two.

Q2. I asked of dogs were allowed before my friend walked in with her dog.

Q3. After ordering two dishes I went in to order drinks. They did not have 2 of the drinks I asked for form their menu. So I asked if they serve Leitungswasser. She muttered some snarky things under her breath and said “of course we give out customers Leitungswasser, why would you ask that.” I said coz there are restaurants in Berlin that don’t!

I told her I was uncomfortable with her being rude to us for very short straightforward questions I asked and she told me i was komisch and said a string of rude things again. To which my friend decided she didn’t wanna eat from there. And we thanked her and walked out.

I also noticed the lady was icing her bruised right-eye. I felt bad for her but her rudeness cannot be excused. It’s wrong. And of course she wasn’t rude the white customers sitting outside.

Only for the lack of predictability with the service and their moods, nope I wouldn’t recommend a friend to this place. Neither would I go back knowing the coldness with which I was treated from the time...

First off, food quality: the pho was mediocre, since the broth was way too sweet and I had to add a lot of sriracha to it, just to counteract the sweetness and let the spice disguise the taste. Also, the amount of beef was way too small. The shrimp/squid/sweet potato deep fried egg rolls were awful… I rarely give such bad reviews, but they were barely edible. There was no shrimp or squid to be found, just stale ingredients and an outer deep fried shell that was barely chewable. I threw away these rolls after 2 bites (€7.50 worth). I ordered via Lieferando and my order came around 2.5 hours late. The delivery person was very unfriendly, acted as if he was doing me a favor....

I wish I could give no star. The staff here is just Wow

So today , my wife , 2 year old and me went to this restaurant and it was around 8:45-9 pm and the restaurant had only two customers. So there were a lot of seats in the restaurant. She offered us the seat for two people and I just requested if we could get a bigger table ( table of 4). She told no the stroller needs to be kept aside which I agreed and then I just told her it would be more comfortable if we get a bigger table as we also have a toddler too . She denied us a bigger table even if there were soooo many seats available. It was really sad to have...
