Background: I am not GF, but I have enough friends who are bakers and GF or celiac that I had to do the research. This bakery offers options for sweets and the more traditional bread-y items. Personal favorite of the breads is the Mohrenbrötchen. For sweets, don't leave without trying the Käse-Mohn-Kuchen. I tried everything on the menu about 6 months ago and again today. Everything was consistent quality from last time, and we were impressed with 90% of what we tried. The Honig-Marzipan-Torte was a little dry, and Mohnstollen was too sweet for my taste. Aside from this, they offer hot drinks and have a lot of seating, so if you want space for a big coffee gathering on a rainy day, this would be your best secret spot. And the guy here is so sweet, you can also speak in English and...

I'm always happy to find a gluten free backery. The city would be better with more options. Brotquelle offers a nice selection of pastry, cakes and bread. The mediterranean bread was easily one of the best I had. The croissants mimic more the "traditional" versions, rather than the "hard, concentrated" gluten free ones. More... puffy. I've also tried one of the many breakfast options they had. The tomato-toskana spread being by far the best. It's not an impressive breakfast or something one can't get by spending 20 minutes in a grocery store. However, given the limited GF breakfast options, I...

The most amazing gluten free bakery in Berlin! Located closed to my hostel, I knew I had to stop by. The staff was super accommodating and attentive, and answered all the questions I had about the pastries and cakes available. Make sure to stop by on the weekends! Some items are made special and only available on Saturdays & Sundays. I had the most delicious chocolate croissant I have ever had and an apple tart. Also another heads up, any transaction under five euros you need to pay cash so make sure to have some coins handy! Do not skip this place ❤️
