We hosted a surprise baby shower for my wife at Café Morgenlicht (25 guests) and it was absolutely perfect! Samer and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The Levantine food was outstanding — the falafel, hummus, Muhammara, and fattoush salad were all incredibly fresh and delicious. We chose to sit in the front yard. It was Saturday afternoon and the atmosphere could not be better: calm, friendly, quite. The food was so fresh. We ordered a Fattoush Salad and the Vegan Mezze platter with delicious falafel. Normally I am not super amazed by falafel but these were crispy and I could feel the taste of check peas- perfect balanced spices! Every vegetable piece was fresh! When I was there I ordered two coffees. One of them was burnt and too hot. I told them about it, when I already had paid 9euros for these two coffees-- just to make clear that it was not that i didn't want to pay! Their response was to put large faces, start speaking between them in an angry way and saying to me that the coffee was "okay". We took the coffee that was okay and left the other one there.
