Cafe Largo — Restaurant in Berlin

Poor service, small portions, but good coffee.

We really wanted to like this place due to its great selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes, but whilst the coffee and food was tasty, the rest left a lot to be desired.

Upon arrival, it took us 5 minutes before we were able to get the waiter's attention and a menu. We ordered shortly after and the coffees came after 10 minutes. An hour after we'd ordered our food, we'd finished our coffees but still had no food. We flagged down the waiter who said that our food was coming but there was a group who'd ordered before us. This could be excused had this been explained proactively at any point. No apology was offered and the waiter walked off before we could order another coffee.

Our food came 1 hour 8 minutes after ordering. It was tasty, but the portion sizes left a lot to be desired. (the dish pictured is the burrito).

On another day, perhaps the same or another waiter would have provided a superior service, which would have lifted our experience to a four star review, but sadly we won't be back...

I stopped by at this cafe just to have a quick snack and to make a business call before an appointment I had later on in the same neighbourhood. It was quite noisy inside so I took a place at a small table outside. In a course of few minutes I've been told that people with laptops ARE NOT allowed to sit outside so that I can stay for just another 10 minutes, just as an exception. Having spent 15 euros at the place I'd expect an allowance to stay for 30 minutes minimum. The food was okayish, nothing fancy, but after being confronted with this rudeness I just went away. I would never visit this place again. Having clear rules like allowing people with laptops to stay for 1 hour would be more fair than having these Draconian laws. P. S. After being told: "Tut mir leid, aber ihr bekommt eine Drei auf Google" the waitress replied: "Ist mir egal", what...

Pretty cafe, however portion sizes are ... not so pretty (if you fancy a salad). If you're keen for alight bite then yes, this is the place. Don't get me wrong, the food tasted good and fresh but for 5 or 6 euros, I expected a little more on my plate.

I had the special salad. Beetroot, goats cheese, leaves, a small slice of bread (like really small) andsome vinegarette. It was tasty but again it was a bit small for a lunch meal. I can't talk for the remainder of the meals as this is what I ordered

On a good note , I did order the green monster smoothie. Definitely green and tasty. Felt more full than my salad!

Service was standard. Not amazing but not bad. Overall I would say a lovely place to hangout with a friend if you're not too worried...
