After hearing many positive feedbacks about this Thai restaurant, about serving food that is actually spicy, the closest you can find to the original, I decided to give it a try. I wanted to be spontaneous on a Saturday night so I didn't book in advance, so I was expecting some delays. They welcomed us nevertheless inside the restaurant, but we had to wait for 30 mins until a table was free. I started by ordering two homemade drinks, lemon and hibiscus smoothies, which were refreshing and not too sweet. For starters we got the fried wantun with minced chicken, which is served with a sweet chili sauce and the chicken skewers, served with a peanut sauce, both were very delicious and perfect as starters. I was very hungry and wanted to try many dishes, so I ordered two main dishes for myself! I got the spicy duck with veggies, it was very authentic, but I wasn't a big fan of the taste. However, the noodle soup was incredible, I believe this is what they cook best. We also tried their massaman curry with chicken, and I thought it was very tasty. The waitresses made sure we had a great time and always asked for our feedback. Eventhough I felt that the portions are smaller than normal, but it was also cheaper and more authentic, so that was fair enough. Why I am giving 4 stars then? Because they take cash only, which is always unacceptable in my own opinion. I will be coming back next time I am craving some...
Read moreAuthentic Thai food indeed. I barely find authentic Thai food since I came to Europe and this is definitely one. I had red curry chicken (spicy) and shrimp cakes today. Red curry is very good. Salty and sweet are the most common and dominant flavor of the red curry I find in Europe yet not so much flavor left of the red curry itself. It’s usually quite milky, too. But the red curry I had is not over salty, not over sweet, not milky at all, I got to taste the combination of spicy and the curry. It’s a nice surprise. I love spicy food yet I never had it in red curry before today. I enjoyed the lunch a lot. Shrimp cakes is a very common Thai food in Thai restaurants in Taiwan. I guess also in Thailand. I haven’t been to many restaurants in Thailand ( few only), so it’s hard for me to tell. The shrimp cakes is quite rare to find in the Thai restaurants in Europe, at least it’s the only one has it in my experiences. I ordered it with high expectations and it’s worthy it! I’ll definitely order it again and I know my husband would love it!
They don’t offer daily menu...
Read moreThis is the best Thai food I've ever had outside of Thailand (And I'm Thai who lives in Belgium)
First of all I'm a bit sad that this place is not close to my home because I know I'll definitely go to eat here every week.
The food here is just so so so good and it always comes with a big portion! And it's sooo cheap! I mean you'll be really full just one dish.
There is so many choices you can choose and for someone who loves Moo Krob, I love this place so much.
The owner is also super nice and all staff here is super friendly. After you ordered you'll get your food really fast and I love that you don't need to wait for too long.
We visited Berlin 2 times this year and on each trip we visited here 2 times and I wish I could go more hahahha but well next time I'll go here again.
And don't forger to order your traditional Thai drink! They are also really good!
I really recommend everyone to try it here and if you wanna go for dinner maybe it's better if you book table in front because it's always busy here!
I love this place! See you next...
