This is the best place ever! I definitely think it’s worth going out of your way to try this place out! I went there both days and both days everything was just amazing! The food is out of this world, the service is great and super fast! I got the Hong Shao noodle soup with chopped tofu the first day and it was so flavourful, so delicious. It’s genuinely the best thing i’ve ever had in my life and I think about it even to this day! The second day we had the DanDan Noodles, again with chopped tofu to go and even though we came in 30 minutes before closing, the staff was so nice to us and they made us the food no problem! The hand made noodles are so bouncy and chewy, and so large! I really don’t know which part of the meal i liked most as all the ingredients were of high quality and delicious! I highly recommend the Hong Shao noodle soup with chopped tofu (and add some chilli oil, trust me, it will transport the whole experience to another level!). I’ll definitely come back here when I’m visiting Berlin again! Thank you to all the cooks and staff for the amazing...
Read moreBland, overpriced, overcooked, and stingy. We were seated in front of the door despite the restaurant being quiet. The prawn dumplings were bland and tasted only of the burnt bottom. Dan Dan noodles with minced beef was also under-seasoned, though the noodles themselves have a great texture. The tofu soup was similar: good texture in the noodles, no flavour. I paid extra for a fried egg on the Dan Dan and it was very overcooked. The meals are not large portions and have few ingredients, so there’s not even good value to be had. Final insult? Paying 3.50 for a 250ml bottle of Heineken the only beer option. In Germany?!). Total price (two mains, two drinks, one entree) was €47 euros. Overall, good noodles let down in every way in a restaurant on a busy intersection. There are better options...
Read moreDan Dan Noodles in vegan and not vegan were very good! Super nice, thin hand pulled noodles, better than other Hand pulled noodles. Sauce was aromatic not spicy but there was delicious oil on the table. Tofu was crunchy from frying it but absorbed the sauce amazingly.
Service was very nice, she was alone but responded very quickly since the restaurant is not that big.
Atmosphere was cute, the open kitchen was an eye catcher and made the room more open and exciting. There was no music but the voices filled the room with noise. It was a nice volume. The light was a bit too bright which made the atmosphere a little uncomfortable.
Would recommend going here, nice alternative to the hyped hand pulled noodle places in town and...
