Finally, somewhere that breaks out of the Berlin mould and offers what they promise: an authentic taste of their offered cuisine.
There’s a lot of south-east Asian restaurants in Berlin that have all become homogenous in their flavour, but Dahlbat steps out of that malaise. The dishes were varied and interesting and I recommend trying their set which includes a lot of small dishes, just so you can have a taste of everything on offer. Some of the smaller dishes were a miss in my opinion, such as the marinated peanuts which was quite salty, while the chicken was superb.
Do not skip the Momos, they were absolutely banging, especially when combined with the Dahl that came our other chickpea dish.
