Gremia - Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Berlin

Great spot, me and my team go almost weekly (I would have honestly went there more than once per week, but they complain about the diversity of our diet). There are new specials on the menu every week, so we never get bored and the team is here to give advice if needed. We are regulars, so get pretty personal service, but they are welcoming to everybody! Once they ran out of tables outside, and it was a really hot day, so they allowed us to move a table from the inside to the pavement, where it stayed for the rest of summer. You can also ask for a larger portion for a surcharge :)

I think card payments are accepted from 15 euro.

The only weird thing is that apparently I do not have any pictures...

I'm not quite sure if it was because of the daily offer or not, but the pasta that I just took was totally inedible. Thick and overcooked–actually burned–and tasted like it was cooked days ago.

I payed for that 8€, which can actually be considered as a sort of Italian offense. No card payment allowed either.

I'm scoring them 2 stars, just because we all have bad days and I'd definitively love to visit the place back again on a different time to double-check whether their current high score is legit or not. I'm really curious about that.

Best lasagna I've tried during the last 15 years. I've tried such a lasagna once about 15 years ago in one small village in southern Italy and couldn't find a match for such a long time. This restaurant's chef made an amazing piece of it today. The dough was melting in my mouth. Everything is made freshly at the place. The place itself is really small, but he warm atmosphere is sooo inviting. Hope to try the deserts next time. Special thanks to the chef and the waitress who were so caring...
