Absolutely stunning masjid. Masha'Allah! I had the privilege of watching the transformation each time I visited. Because of the layout plan though, it actually increases the chances of a fellow worshipper walking across your path while you're praying. For me, this is an obvious flaw in the design. The entrance to the prayer hall should be from the rear (there are entrances at the front and back). That way, people that can't stay for long can stay near the back to minimise disruption. There is also a lack of direction by the imam, or via signs, on appropriate behavior during a jamaat. Many elderly, as well as young, people often talk during the sermon and the vast majority of worshippers do not cover their heads. I even saw one guy wearing tight denim shorts. Something I had never seen before! All the space is not used, which leads to many people praying by the shoe racks. The lack of understanding and sympathy towards other worshippers is disappointing. There is a correct etiquette to attending a masjid. Please learn it and respect your fellow worshippers. There are one or two people that visit the masjid who bring a smile to my face. Assalomua aleikum wa rohmatullohi wa barokatuh. This Mevlana Mosque in Berlin one of the most beautiful mosques and houses of Allah subhanahu wa ta‘ala. I actually live in Hamburg, i was the last week in Berlin and visited this mosque. It was the most exciting sightseeing for me in Berlin. In sha Allah i will visit this mosque again. Actually it is beeing repaired or built but it still looks really beautiful. You can meet there in this mosque many Muslim brothers from all over the world. May Allah forgive us and the people who work for this mosque.

Leider muss ich meine Erfahrungen teilen, die ich jeden Freitag während der Jumma-Gebetszeit an diesem Ort gemacht habe. Es ist enttäuschend zu sehen, wie Menschen rücksichtslos ihre Autos an Stellen parken, an denen es ausdrücklich nicht erlaubt ist. Diese unhöfliche Praxis beeinträchtigt nicht nur die Verkehrssicherheit, sondern schränkt auch die Bewegungsfreiheit der Fußgänger erheblich ein.

Das Parkchaos erreicht seinen Höhepunkt genau zu dem Zeitpunkt, an dem die "Gläubigen" für das Freitagsgebet zusammenkommen sollten. Anstatt sich auf die spirituelle Erfahrung zu konzentrieren, wird man mit der Herausforderung konfrontiert, einen sicheren Weg durch die wild geparkten Autos zu finden. Dieses Verhalten steht im krassen Widerspruch zu den Prinzipien des Islam, die Respekt, Rücksichtnahme und Ordnung betonen.

Es ist bedauerlich zu sehen, wie einige muslimische Betenden offensichtlich die Verkehrsregeln und die Bedürfnisse der Fußgänger ignorieren, insbesondere an einem Ort, der für religiöse Aktivitäten genutzt wird. Die Behinderung der Fußgänger, darunter ältere Menschen und Kinder, ist inakzeptabel und widerspricht den Grundsätzen der Höflichkeit und des Anstands.

Es wäre wünschenswert, dass die Verantwortlichen vor Ort (Imame etc) Maßnahmen ergreifen, um dieses unangemessene Parkverhalten während der Jumma-Gebetszeit zu kontrollieren. Die Gemeinschaft sollte sich darauf besinnen, dass das Gebet nicht nur im spirituellen, sondern auch im physischen Sinne frei von Störungen sein sollte.
