Reflective Realms: Unveiling Anselm Reyle's Paradigm (Tap More to Read Full Review)

Uncover the extraordinary world of Anselm Reyle's Paradigm exhibition at KÖNIG Berlin. Step into a captivating realm where art transcends boundaries, forging connections between materials, perceptions, and the depths of human imagination.

Delve into the enigmatic brilliance of "Reflective Realms," an awe-inspiring display that challenges conventional notions of artistry. Prepare to be transported to a universe where stainless steel sculptures, towering over six meters tall, command attention with their paradoxical fusion of visibility and ethereal grace. Like elusive specters, these gleaming structures vanish into pure reflection, their undulating surfaces captivating the eye with a dance of shadows and illusions.

Behold Reyle's mastery in his foil paintings, where vibrant colors interplay with interlocking reflections, drawing you into a kaleidoscope of visual enchantment. Witness the metamorphosis of ordinary silver foil, once overlooked, into a mesmerizing conduit of artistic expression. Each stroke unveils the artist's deft hand, as the foil bends and folds, creating a dynamic interplay of light, texture, and dimension.

Illuminate your senses as Reyle's neon elements come alive within Plexiglas boxes. Symbolism merges with abstract gestures, forging a multi-layered narrative that captivates the mind. Remnants discovered amidst glassblowers' treasures find new life in Reyle's artistry, casting vibrant hues and casting a spell of intrigue upon the viewer. Let the pink lettering of "Paradise" transport you to a world of contemplation and wonder.

Experience the haptic allure of Reyle's NEUE MALEREI series, where minimalist forms create a rich tapestry of textures and emotions. Rough jute grounds intermingle with iridescent surfaces, foil folds converse with neon pigments, and gestural drips blend with impasto layers, resulting in a harmonious symphony of artistic mastery.

Embark on an extraordinary journey through Reflective Realms: Anselm Reyle's Paradigm. Immerse yourself in the interplay of materials, reflections, and artistic vision, and let your imagination soar. Prepare to be captivated, inspired, and transported to a universe where art becomes a conduit for limitless exploration.

Sincerely Kristopher • IG:...

Went to the this gallery to see Refik Anadol's exhibition. The gallery was tad small. I went on Sunday 1pm and I had to queue for 1.5 hr — possibly more.

I suggest to visit the gallery during week day. However bear in mind it closes at 6pm.

If you are visiting to see Anadol's Machine Hallucinations: Nature Dreams, read a little bit about him and his thought process, techniques etc on Google or anywhere really. (Do this while you're queuing! Hehe) Otherwise, you would probably feel the exhibition was merely a video or those art you found for your screensavers. Trust me, you'll appreciate more if you read about him and his work prior to see...

I wish I could give this gallery 5 stars until I asked a girl at the info point if I could use the bathroom (it's located on the ground floor but locked so I had to go to the information point to ask) and she replied to me: "oh no you can't use it as it's not a public WC, we forgot to remove the name on the door"...yeah nice try, the worst excuse so far...

2 floors of a modern art gallery, first floor quite small giving space mainly to the bookshop, second floor with one huge room, nice depending on the exhibition.

The surrounding area doesn't have much to offer so keep this place as a plus after all your main...
