Kauz & Kiebitz — Restaurant in Berlin

I absolutely recommend this place for the lovely staff, delicious drinks and food. Went several times and I was never disappointed. The employees are adorable, the atmosphere is nice and the food always innovative and so tasty. We went for Vday with my partner and the special menu was delicious. Also, this place is super dog friendly :) We went there with our two gremlins and they were welcome.

Update on 08.03 - We went spontaneously tonight, again, 5/5 nothing negative to say. The food was great (the shrimp sandwich is to die for!), the cocktails and the wine were delicious and the atmosphere was super lovely. Our dogs were also treated as little kings as always. If you are around in Berlin Neukolln, this place is defo a must try! Thank you so much to the staff and the chef for this...

Truffle pig has superb cocktails but they don't like if you have and bring your friends. The waitress basically blamed us for other people leaving the bar just a couple of minutes after 3 friends arrived without proper reasoning apart from "you are too many". Everyone found a seat easily - none was drunk or behaving bad in any way. We would have stayed longer if it wasn't for this ridiculous blame that ruined the evening. It's a pity but this is beyond Berliner Schnauze and just utter bad service.

Fun fact: at the beginning of the evening the waitress blamed the bar to be empty on the good weather, later it was us. Maybe it was...

Yes, yes, Truffle Pig is cool and all that, but I didn't even feel the need to get into the sleek speakeasy in the back of this awesome gastropub.

The hospitality is so so good. Warm, friendly and always happy to help, so much that I literally got stuck in my bar seat and couldn't physically leave.

Small but exciting selection of beers and a bit more exclusive selection of spirits in the perfect blend that make Kauz & Kiebitz a perfect match for any occassion.
