Goldberg Bar Café - Essen und Trinken — Restaurant in Berlin

I WOULD NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS BAR AGAIN!!!

I was going to sit, order something and show a platform that helps businesses find employees and the owner yelled at me and was extremely rude to me even though I just wanted to show it politely. He could have just told me that they didn't need it but he chose the impolite way.

Reply to the owner's comment: the platform is completely free for job seekers and we don’t take any percentage of anyone’s wages. I was polite, simply wanted to show it, and before getting to say a word, I got yelled at and treated with complete rudeness. If someone had just said “no thanks” respectfully, we wouldn’t be here. The response of the owner only confirms that disrespectful attitude.

This venue changes its mood and style throughout the day. At noon, it is bright and quiet, well-suited for working or meetings. At night, it becomes a place for dates and intimate discussions with its candlelit atmosphere. The service is a mixed bad. It is friendly, albeit slow. This is a place for slow lunches, as it can take up to 40min to receive your dishes. The prices are very premium for the area and Berlin in general. Schnitzel for 23 Euro is on the very high end. I am subtracting two stars due to the aforementioned schnitzel, mine was supposed to come with homemade marmalade, but they ran out of it. Completely Disapointment! There was a menu offering soup with a main dish sausages with potato cream. After ordering this menu they brought the main course only and said that the soup is finished without asking if we still want this menu option. The food was less than basic with low quility sausages and a very small portion i barely felt full(i am 72 kg). Only the sauce justifies a restaurant dish. The “menu” was 17 euros too overpricy for the area and the offered food. Service was slow while the restaurant was empty. The waiter/boss was unpolite and gives the feeling he wants to trick us.
